Bobby Fischer blasts Reuben Fine in 17 moves with the Evan's Gambit | 1963
This game from New York, 1963 between Bobby Fischer and Reuben Fine was held in a skittles room. Though the game was played casually, it does not detract from what was ultimately produced in only 17 moves with the Evan's Gambit. Not only did Fischer quickly pounce on Fine's greed in the opening, but also opened an important floodgate in the middle game so all his pieces could help pursue an attack against the black king.
