Printing a Bambu Lab Refillable Spool in Red | Part 1 Timelapse

Bambu Lab refillable spool 3D print timelapse. In this video I’m printing the first half of a refillable filament spool using red filament instead of the recommended white. The spool system allows refill filament to be reused without constantly buying new plastic spools.

Most examples of this print are done in white, but I decided to try red to see how it turns out and to make the spool easier to spot in the workshop.

This video shows Part 1 of the spool build, where the first half of the spool is printed layer by layer on the build plate. Once both halves are printed, they can be assembled to create a reusable spool for refill filament systems.

Projects like this are one of the best parts of 3D printing — making practical parts that help support the hobby itself.
