THE HOLLYWOOD STORIES OF MARTY LYDECKER: Cecil B. DeMille and the Secretary

In March of 2022, I was contacted by a man named Marty Lydecker. During the call, he claimed to be one hundred and twenty-three years old and that he had worked as a below-the-line crew member on over eight hundred Films between the years nineteen eighteen and Two thousand and seven. He said he had wanted to write a book about his experiences.

However, he was unable to after losing the use of his fingertips due to a freak sandblasting accident. So he contacted me in hopes that I could record his stories for posterity. What follows are bits and pieces from over Sixty hours of interviews.

As of June of 2022, none of these stories have been verified."
