The Formula Edge (F-Edge) is a racing category in Automobilista 2, recently introduced in V1.6.9.5 new update, that simulates the early 1990s-style Formula 1 cars giving us a new motorsport racing experience.

It replaces the previous Formula V12 class and features three distinct models representing different engine configurations from that era.

🏎 F-Edge Model 1: V12 engine. High torque and traction.
🏎 F-Edge Model 2: V10 engine. Considered the most demanding to drive.
🏎 F-Edge Model 3: V8 engine. Easier to manage at the limit.

The category is named "Edge" to represent the massive drop in downforce experienced in that era compared to previous seasons. The models feature updated, high-fidelity physics reflecting the naturally aspirated engines that succeeded the turbo era.

Automobilista 2 continues to be one of the most realistic racing simulators available, and the Formula Edge category delivers an authentic open-wheel F1 experience with precise physics, detailed cockpit immersion, and stunning track fidelity at Interlagos, one of the most iconic circuits in motorsport history.
