Kelly & Will camping on Garden Key, June 2-5, 2019; entering Fort Jefferson and walking around the first level, including visiting Dr. Samuel Mudd's cell. (He was incarcerated here because he unknowingly helped John Wilkes Booth with an injury after he shot President Lincoln. Originally sentenced to death, President A. Johnson changed it to life in prison...here... Mudd was released though, after helping battle an outbreak of yellow fever which sickened hundreds in the fort and killed dozens.)
