2017 Land Rover Discovery TD6 Problems

Since purchasing my Land Rover 2017 Discovery TD6, it has spent more time in the dealer repair shop then on the road. This vehicle is riddled with software problems and now after 400 miles, has developed a "cold" engine problem that causes sparadic power loss while driving sometimes making the car feel like it's bucking. The 8 speed transmission tends to hide some of the problems, but when you see the tach needle bounce, that's the engine surging or loosing power. It tends to happen the most when the car is left overnight, cold started, outdoor temp's are in the 70's. The temperature at halfway to full temp is usually a sign when to expect the problem to start. When the problem starts, I notice the temperature rapidly drop on the dashboard and then it recovers when it stops.

Sorry for the bad audio, I was using a gopro camera inside the weatherproof enlcosure. There are two clips I strung together here. The first one is harder to see the tach jump, but the 2nd clip is very obviously whats going on.
