I begin by answering some of these common questions and then diving into showing you examples of some different types of retainers: Hawley retainers (a.k.a. wired retainers), Clear retainers (Zendura, Vivera, Essix etc), and then fixed lingual retainers

Each of these retainers have different pros and cons but based on your original malocclusion (reason why you got braces), your lifestyle, and your hygiene, you and your orthodontist can come up with a retention plan to make sure that your teeth stay as beautiful as they are the day you get your braces off!
