30 years after Rodney King LAPD beating video, what has changed?
On March 3, 1991, KTLA was the first television station to broadcast an amateur video showing what happened at the end of a police pursuit. That tape, which showed LAPD police officers beating motorist Rodney King, had a huge impact on the history of Los Angeles.
