CCTV force now tasked with eliminating drug dealers. They're preparing lists and encouraging citizens to identify dealers fearlessly. But we question: should ordinary people become informants? What about revenge reporting from addicts with debts? The agency promises protection, but creating enemies through informant systems is dangerous.

🎭 Malik Cinema Shutdown
Deputy Commissioner sealed Bhati Gate's Malik Cinema—not for illegal films, but because drug addicts and criminals used it as a hideout after committing crimes. These cheap ticket cinemas became safe havens where criminals could disappear for 8-10 hours watching multiple films.

🚔 The Real Problem: System Duplication
Pakistan keeps creating new forces—Punjab Police, Elite Force, Dolphin Force, CCTV—instead of fixing the core system. Each new agency removes jurisdiction from Punjab Police. Drug cases now go to CCTV, street crime to Dolphin, VIP security to Elite. This creates duplication of duties, wastes resources, and leaves Punjab Police severely underfunded with long shifts and low salaries.

💡 Our Analysis
Just like SIFC discovered tax policy problems after formation, these issues should be fixed systematically rather than creating temporary solutions. When governments change, new cases emerge questioning these bypasses. Whether it's property committees or specialized forces, Pakistan must reform the system itself, not just add layers.
