Yanmar Head Work: Welding Cracks and Grinding Valves
This is the fifth video on my attempts to repair the Yanmar YM240 tractor. In this episode I clean up the cracks between the valve ports, preheat the head, weld the cracks, and lap the valves. (This is not the best method for repairing a cast iron head. Using threaded stitching plugs is better.) This is a lot of work. I sure hope this engine runs after all of this. Thanks for watching.
