6 Sleep Hygiene Tips

Obtaining healthy sleep is important for both physical and mental health. In this video I provide six sleep hygiene tips.

How can I improve my sleep hygiene?

1. Avoid smart phones, tablets and laptops before bed time.
2. Expose yourself to natural light
3. Establish a regular bed time and night time routine
4. Avoid stimulants such as caffeine, nicotine and alcohol
5. Use the bedroom for sleep and intimacy only
6. Seek medical and psychological help if needed
