Tsunami hits Valparaiso beach due to storm surge in Chile.

Large swells in different sectors of the country have caused damage, such as the flooding of the Curanipe cove in Pelluhue, which ended with the swells taking away boats and motors.
The Meteorological Service of the Chilean Navy explained that the abnormal swells are due to the strong wind that this situation generates, which allows predicting damage to the coastal infrastructure along with eventual floods.
The phenomenon that affects from Arica to Aysén, will continue until this Saturday, June 12, according to the agency. The consequence of what happened is that different sectors were physically affected and that is why, for example, the infrastructure of certain places is questioned. Such is the case in San Antonio, where they had to evacuate and the port facilities were damaged. In addition, pedestrians also suffered due to the fact that in certain places it was impossible to pass or the roads were slippery, hindering the passage of cars.
