xTool F2 Ultra UV Tumbler Test 🔥 Color Engraving on Stainless Steel + Black Tumbler

Today we’re testing the xTool F2 Ultra UV on two different tumblers — a black coated tumbler and a stainless steel tumbler.

In this test, we explore how the UV laser interacts with different materials and finishes. On the stainless steel tumbler, we were able to achieve color variation engraving by adjusting the laser focus, creating a unique multi-color effect directly on the surface.

This was done by offsetting the focus by approximately +6 mm, allowing the laser to produce a range of colors across the engraving.

If you’re working with stainless steel, this is a great method to experiment with different looks and finishes using the xTool F2 Ultra UV.
