Network Studio: From 2D Graph Layout to 3D Bundling, Fabrication, and Export

Network Studio is a browser-first visual lab for exploring complex networks through a guided workflow that moves from 2D layout refinement to 3D mapping, edge bundling, skeleton extraction, fabrication preview, and export.

In this demo, I walk through the studio step by step and show how it can be used to transform raw network data into cleaner analytical views, expressive visual forms, and fabrication-oriented outputs.

What the demo covers:

* loading graphs from GEXF or CSV,
* refining the 2D structure before depth mapping,
* mapping the network into 3D,
* applying and comparing edge bundling methods,
* extracting centerlines/skeleton structure,
* preparing fabrication previews,
* styling scenes for scientific or artistic presentation,
* exporting results for downstream use.
