Leaving my Puppy (Hiccup) for the First Time 😭 | Traveling Home for Thanksgiving

It’s finally holiday time!! This is one of the best parts of the school year, because it shows that the end of the first semester is near lol! But going home to Texas meant leaving my puppy Hiccup for a whole week! 😭 It was hard to leave him, but I had so much fun with my family! Where did you celebrate Thanksgiving this year? Last year for Thanksgiving I was sick and couldn’t travel home so I spent most of Thanksgiving by myself… which ended up kind of fun haha. But this year I was super excited to get to go home because for some reason I feel like the semester has felt so much longer than last year. The hardest part about leaving home is time is leaving my new dog Hiccup. I've only had him for two months, but he's my little buddy and I love him SO MUCH! Luckily he staying with my friends (who whose dogs are actually his parents). Brooklyn's dog Finn is also staying there, so he was already accustomed to everyone and had SO MUCH fun! It was still SO HARD saying goodbye to him for a whole week! I'm like his mom, and I've never left him before!

When I got to the airport it was all decorated in holiday decor which is an immediate serotonin boost lol. There’s something about holiday decorations that just make everything so much more lively and festive!

I was laughing with my friend the other day about how Thanksgiving break isn’t really a break for college students, it’s the time to be able to do the homework that you haven’t been able to do because you’ve been learning new information haha! Comment if you relate!

It was super fun to see my family while I was home and we did a lot of fun activities together, and I also got a lot of homework done ;). Of course it was fun to get back home to by little Hiccup too!!
