Jeff Geerling Inspired Storinator
The Storinator Jr was a pet project for 45Drives’ R&D employee Josh Boudreau. He had seen Jeff Geerling’s work, and was inspired. Josh wanted to see what it would look like to get a Storinator, with ZFS and some other 45Drives staples like, the high drive count and LSI cards, shrunk down into a miniature chassis and running on a Raspberry Pi. So that’s exactly what he did.
You might have seen it kick up a little buzz on Reddit. We got a lot of questions about what this small Storinator actually is, so we figured it was time to let you know. Check out this interview with R&D Engineer Josh Bourdreau.
