Travel Through Ireland - Family Vacation with Toddler - Dublin, Dingle, Killarney, Cliffs of Moher

We took a week and a half trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland, where we rented a car and drove throughout the country. We took a 2-year-old toddler, so we’ll be showing kid-friendly attractions to visit.

First we arrived in Dublin and spent some time in the city visiting restaurant and parks.

Then we drove north along the coast to Northern Ireland. Along the way, we stopped by local farms that had slides and petting zoos for animals.

In Ballymena, we visited the Cushendun Caves on Cushendun Beach in County Atrim, one of the locations where Game of Thrones was filmed.

Next, we went to Ballycastle where the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge. It’s an old bridge suspensed high above the water that you can walk across.

Then we drove to Giant’s Causeway, the large cylinder stepping stones in Bushmills.

Next we went to see Glencar Waterfall in Manorhamilton in County Leitrim. Nearby we visited. Ashford Castle, an old 13th century castle turned hotel on Leaf Island in Cong in County Galway.
