Welcome to Ultimate Survival Gear! Today I have another EDC sling pack review for everyone and this is Oakley Extractor review. As usual, let's start with some details:
Back padding for comfort and breathability
Integrated MOLLE webbing
Multiple style attachments
External and internal mesh pockets on both sides
Quick access silent tabs
Gear loops on both sides, shoulder strap as well as the bottom of the backpack
Padded internal zipper pocket for delicate gear
23L capacity
19.4 H x 9.5 W x 2.8 D

So, in order to put this Oakley Extractor Sling Pack 2.0 though I real test, I took it out on a quick night ops in-out objective. The objective was to reach the base of the hilltop by nightfall, climb to reach the top using the night vision device, setup the observation post and conduct the area recon using the thermal imagery. Overall, this Oakley sling pack performed very well. It was comfortable to wear on the approach trail, it fit all my gear perfectly, there was more than enough MOLLE and gear loops to secure my helmet to the outside of the pack. The versatility of the straps allowed me to switch the orientation of the backpack during the climb. All the gear was preserved well. It was also raining on the way back to the trailhead, but none of my gear got wet.
