A Mystery of Google Maps - What is the Yarrow Ravine Rattlesnake Habitat?

About 11 miles outside of the town of Barstow, California, Google Maps shows a place called the Yarrow Ravine Rattlesnake Area. It appears to be a park that encompasses several mountains in the Mojave Desert. The only problem? There is no place called Yarrow Ravine Rattlesnake Area.

Searching various land databases and maps reveals nothing, nor does an internet search, the land immediately to both sides of this place is controlled by the Department of Defense, and there is a strange feature on top of one of the mountains.

The only way to really find out what Yarrow Ravine Rattlesnake Habitat is hiding, is to head out there, and what we found makes the story a bit weirder.

The Yarrow Ravine Rattlesnake Habitat is located at 34.922359974021845, -116.80124737109402
