Intro to Stick welding (SMAW)

In this very special video I will be showing you everything you need to know to start welding with shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) otherwise known as stick welding.

I will be teaching you the pros/cons of stick welding, specific safety for stick welding, how to set up your stick welder, how to strike an arc, my tips on how to lay your first bead, and how to diagnose your stick weld. Plus all of my tips and tricks I have learned over 30 years welding!
