One-week construction time-lapse with closeups: Week 34 of the Ⓢ-series

Week 34 in the ongoing Ⓢ series, which follows the construction of a new 13-story senior living building in San Francisco. This is a #construction #timelapse with various closeups and "sub-time-lapses" at various speeds, condensing the week of September 21 - 26, 2020, into about 50 minutes.

On Monday, there's framing work and pipe and doorframe delivery, as well as some sweeping.

There's a lot packed into Tuesday, for some reason there are a lot of closeups on that day, including work on columns, curtain wall, some ductwork, knocking bits off the ceiling (which seems like not a great job), layout work, decking up top, and a little bit of time watching the tower crane cab area at high speed for fun.

Wednesday has duct shuffling and more curtain wall work.

Thursday has ceiling skim coat, more layout and more curtain wall. (On these lower floors we can't actually see the ceiling skim coat, but in later episodes, when they're working on higher floors, we will be able to see it.)

On Friday I was happy to be able to catch more of the elusive work on the stairs. That is difficult to catch because they only do it every once in a great while and I never know when, it is back in the dark, and a camera has to be pointed right there at just the right time. But I managed to get some of it. There's also some decking removal, and for the first time the building is all brightly lit up.

Saturday is all ceiling skim coat, and then on Saturday night we catch someone "resting" in the alley, and a very friendly fellow passing by.

No corny jokes this week, which could be a good thing or bad thing, depending on how you feel about those.
