Creality Ender 3 V2 - Make a Great Bed Mounted PI Camera Arm For The Spaghetti Detective & Timelapse

I couldn't find a good bed mounted arm for the PI camera so.... in this video I show the process of creating one. I print parts nearly every day now and watching the printer is a massive waste of time, having a camera to watch the prints through the phone or online from anywhere in the home, and if you use The Spaghetti Detective you can also watch from anywhere saves a lot of time and money for lost filament and time for failed prints.

With a bed mounted camera that moves constantly, it is really important to have something that is resistant to vibration, attaching the camera to a stick with some tape won't work too well, the mounting is important, the structure of the arm and the way the camera pivots are also important.

There are many different ways of capturing time-lapses and the arm needs to work well with all of them, it is also very important to have the ability to adjust the focus of the camera when it is mounted and adjusted to the viewpoint you want, this design allows for that.

If you like the design and would like a different arm design, please leave me some comments and I will review the request, it wouldn't take long to create something new that might work better for other people.
