Have No Fear... The Macerator is Here!
Just a quick video to show how we use our macerator pump when dumping our tanks.

We are mooch docking on our friend's property for a few months and unfortunately their sewer connection is over 150 feet from our RV. That's when we use our macerator pump. It's basically a small garbage disposal. Our sewage hose hooks to one side of the Macerator and a normal 5/8" garden hose attaches to the other side. The Macerator chops up all the icky stuff from the black and gray tanks and pumps it through the hose. Easy peezy lemon squeezy. Really wish it was lemons instead of you know what. Yuck.
Luckily we only have to empty our tanks every 2 weeks. As you can imagine it does take a wee bit longer to empty the tanks this way. Took about an hour start to finish this time.
