Diablo IV: Vessel of Hatred: How to Beat Harbinger of Hatred: Boss Fight Guide

Harbinger of Hatred is a boss encounter in the All Good Things quest in Diablo 4 Vessel of Hatred (D4). See where Harbinger of Hatred is located, how to defeat Harbinger of Hatred, and the rewards for beating him.

Move to the orbs of light that periodically show during the fight to inflict damage and interrupt the Harbinger of Hatred. While the effect of Akarat's light is active you recieve the effects of the Channeling Shrine as seen through the golden resource meter.

Stay inside the circle during the first and final stages of the fight to avoid damage over time from the burning zone. During this mechanic the Harbinger of Hatred will spawn multiple enemies that you need to kill.

Note that Akarat will only be present during the first stage of this mechanic. And although the burning visual is gone during the final stage, the burning zone will still apply damage over time.

When the Harbinger of Hatred puts both his tendrils down, make sure to move to the center of the circle as the safe zone will start to become smaller.

Watch out whenever the Harbinger of Hatred crosses his tendrils over his head, this indicates that we will do a triple projectile attack to the front. Move out of the projectile path by moving to the side or in gaps of each projectile in order to avoid damage.

If the Harbinger of Hatred puts both his Tendrils down, keep moving to avoid the explosions that track your character. These explosions inflict slow and damage over time, so keep moving to avoid the impairment effect and damage.
