Maths Challenge for UK students 13 and up - can you do them? (Q3/5) - Daily Maths Problem 029
The UKMT sets a nationwide competition for all UK school students each year. There are three versions, Junior, Intermediate and Senior - these questions are only from the Intermediate qualifying round.
There are 25 questions to be completed in just 60 minutes - the first 15 are reasonable ... and then they get harder.
This week we look at five recent questions that came nearer the end of the paper.
Pupils in my class got them right - can you?
These questions are also recommended for anyone looking to do well in the GCSE as they test a thorough understanding of the topics.
