Luther - From monk to priest

Martin Luther came within an inch of his life during a thunderstorm. He then promptly vowed to become a monk and entered the Augustinian monastery in Erfurt. The contract partner gives an assurance that such placements are inadvertent and that he or she has not received any money or other consideration for their inclusion.
