Watch Muse Beat Out Rock Royalty With 'The Resistance' In 2011 | GRAMMY Rewind

When Muse showed up to their first GRAMMY Awards in 2011, they had stiff competition in the Best Rock Album Category: Jeff Beck, Pearl Jam, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, and Neil Young. But despite being up against rock legends, the English trio came out victorious thanks to their 2009 LP 'The Resistance' — and in frontman Matt Belamy's eyes, it was a "genuine surprise."
