How the Purim Story Is Playing Out Today

Do you know the Purim story? The same principles laid out in the Purim story apply to today.

Rabbi Curt Landry says this, “The Purim story of Esther and Mordecai is so applicable to what’s happening in our world today. There are key principles in the story that I don’t want you to miss. I want you to get them in your heart, write them down… and look forward to the Mordecai God will send when it is time to answer your call.”

In the Purim story, there is a shift that happens in leadership. Queen Vashti is removed because she doesn’t follow the king’s directions. Esther is brought in and eventually delivers her people. She answers her call but doesn't know how big this calling is at the time.

Prophetically, the Lord is looking for new leaders in the 7 mountains of influence. Many won’t know how significant their role is until they step out in faith.
