SANEM Lecture Series 5: “The U.S Economy in 2017: Outlooks and Risks” by Dr. Tanweer Akram, Director, Global Public Policy and Economics, Thrivent Fiancial was successfully held today, April 6, 2017 in Gulshan, Dhaka. In the presentation Dr. Akram discussed the outlook for economic growth, monetary policy, and long‐term interest rates for the United States in 2017 and identify the key risks ahead. The session continued for about 1.5 hour followed by an open discussion. This session was open for all professionals, thinkers and all interested individuals.
