An Angel Came to Teach the Companions About Islam #islamicstory

One day, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was approached by a mysterious man dressed in pure white. He asked about Islam, faith (iman), excellence in worship (ihsan), and the Day of Judgment. The Prophet’s ﷺ deep answers weren’t just replies—they were lessons for all the companions about the core of our religion.

It turned out that the man was Angel Jibril (Gabriel) in disguise, sent to teach the people about their religion.

This story is known as the Hadith of Jibril, narrated in Sahih Muslim (Hadith No. 8), and it forms the foundation of our understanding of the Five Pillars of Islam, the Six Articles of Faith, and Ihsan.
