Need for Speed Porsche Unleashed VR | Porsche 911 (996) at the Docks

Here is a concept for what Need for Speed: Porsche Unleased (NFS 5/NFS5) might look like if it was available in VR. You can look around from the inside of the Porsche 911 (996) Carrera 4 on the Cote d'Azur track. Even with my 14-core Pentium CPU, it took hours to render just 16 seconds of 360 degree video, thus why these videos are a bit short right now. However, like with the previous Porsche 928 VR video, I used more advanced techniques to help the four separate videos blend well together (a lot of paint work), and it's still not perfect, but perhaps the closest we have come so far to experiencing NFS5 in a VR world. I also wanted to use this video to demonstrate that, with some creativity, it can work with convertible Porsche models for an even more spacious VR experience.

By the way, this might be the first time that I've noticed in the 26 years or so of playing this game that the dock area of this track is actually moving up and down despite having the car's brakes on.
