Steve Nicholson; Sunrise 1953 - Sunset 2021
EULOGY .....Steven Clark Nicholson was born in Anchorage Alaska on November 3rd 1953. He lived in Dillingham, Bethel and traveled throughout Alaska for his chosen profession. He settled permanently in Anchorage, Alaska.
Steve was a Plumber/Mechanic and Engineer. He started working with his brothers Jerry and Herbie installing and designing boiler systems for residential and commercial properties. In the late 1990’s he established his own business Plumwize as a heating specialist. In his early years Steve worked for the City of Dillingham and also Bristol Bay Area Health Corporation. Later in Steve’s life around 2004 he started work permanently for the Alaska Native Medical Center employed as a Boiler Operator where Steve retired from in 2018. Steve took great pride in his work and always said it’s not always working with poop and pee.
As a child Steve got Polio and suffered throughout his life from it. However, living that experience Steve was able to help others that were suffering due to his phenomenal upbeat personality that made their life more enjoyable.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents Herb & Nina, his brothers Bobby & Herbie which also includes his God Parents Stephan & Elena Pat.
Steve was a kind, generous, caring, down to earth man. He loved his family with every bone is his body. He was Uncle Godfather to his nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and to his great, great nieces & nephews. Always putting others needs before his and is never to be forgotten.
