Couple Nandi (she/her) and Jake (he/him) share a touching conversation on how their almost-instant closeness stemmed from the mutual heartbreaking experience of both parents being diagnosed with cancer. Dating for eight months now, they share an understanding of how petty many problems seem when put in perspective, and find that despite the sadness of their situations, they’re glad they relate so well because of it.
