Once upon a time, Jesse was a very average (or slightly below) AAA hockey player in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Now, he's back home to practice with the city's Winnipeg Ice, a team considered to be a Memorial Cup Favourite. He shared the ice with projected 2022 first-round selections Matthew Savoie and Conor Geekie, along with 2021 Minnesota Wild first-round pick Carson Lambos and more.
