Traxxas Mini Maxx vs. MJX Hyper Go -- Brushed vs. Brushless

The local hobby shop sold my six year old nephew a Traxxas Mini Maxx. Took all of his Christmas money and gave him a sadly appointed over hyped and under spec'd rig. I did a servo upgrade for him, just to keep it operational. But a 3500 mah battery doesn't last very long in a brushed truck. This kid wanted to go fast... and for a good long while! So I brought out with us the MJX Hyper Go 16208. A brushless rig with a 3000 mah battery. Built to the nines, this 16th scale truck is well outfitted in every regard. AND, 3000 mah on a brushless system lasts a heck of a lot longer when you're doing donuts in the dirt! We had an awesome afternoon with both trucks, but the Traxxas just didn't have the staying power to go the distance.
