Xeno Killer Devlog #1 - Movement and shooting

Hi,
I just started a new shooter game called (for now) Xeno Killer
It will be a 2D top down Twin Sticks Shooter with pre-rendered graphics made in blender.

The Game Engine I'm using is Construct 3.

For now I made only the main character.
Since the character can make 360° rotations I had to detach the legs from the upper body. This way you can aim to an enemy in one direction while walking in another one, switching the legs animation consistently.

I hope I'll be able to make all the Player weapons in time for the next update!
