Si en este es posible… Esta es una versión aligerada del antiguo Type R solo se fabricaron 1000 unidades para todo el mundo de las cuales 600 llegaran a estados unidos. Este civic fue creado para recuperar su corona frente el Renault Megane RS Trophy que venció al civic como el tracción delantera más rápido en Nurburgring, este Type R ya venció al Megane Rs en Suzuka pero todo apunta a que lo podrá derrotar y batir el récord en Nurbugring.
