How To Make Bats For Potter's Wheel

To make the bats you should use 'marine ply' or at least 'exterior ply'. Quality of ply can vary a lot so don't get cheap stuff.

I used 6mm ply. I wouldn't recommend anything smaller as it will be more susceptible to warping.
