Sputnik Regenerative Receiver - SSB / CW / AM

SPUTNIK Regenerative Receiver for the amateur radio bands. Works well in SSB / CW / AM... and of course you can receive other digital modes as well. You can build it as simple as possible, or you can add more stages either to improve the performance, or simply t experiment and understand radio receivers in general. The schematic is inspired from an old receiver made with germanium transistors, from the Romanian "Tehnium" magazine from the 70's. Since I didn't had those anymore, I decided to redesign my childhood's receiver with modern components. I wish the audio output was louder, but for some reason the LM386 keeps oscillating no matter what amp design I use.

Still.... it works well with headphones or an amplified speaker. About the performance... I cannot say is amazing, but is fun to use, especially in the days with good propagation. Down below I will leave a link to the schematic. I decided to draw things in separate stages as you can use them or not... and also you can implement those into other receivers as well. Experiment as much as you can.... it's fun. When I have the time I will write a blog post on the website as well.... and I'm working on the Kit since I promised I will have one for sale about an year ago and many people are still asking about it. Is not the first time when we both work on trying to get better results from this little receiver. He also built the first version that I used to have where we were using old germanium transistors.
