Painfully Slow Los Angeles Commute

Ever wanted to see the pain and misery of trying to commute to work in Los Angeles? Well you're in luck.

Thankfully I do not have to do this drive ever, my commute to work is 2 miles, I just spent the night at a friends. For those familiar with LA, this route is coming from the valley (Sherman Oaks) to the Westside (Playa Vista). I take the 405 almost the entire way, with a slight drive on the 90. I know many people have way worse/longer commutes, I just thought I would share this special drive.

8 miles for 40 minutes? Ugh

The miles are approximate on the video, I tried to use maps to figure out each mile marker and it was harder than I thought to cross reference on the video. Therefore the "miles down" are estimates, but are pretty close to reality. Since the entire drive from start to finish was just under 16 miles.

Also, for everyone who said I'm a bad driver, this is your video! I cut off soooo many people twice, out of laziness. However, just imagine how much longer and more painful this video would be if I did everything correctly (hint a lot longer).

Finally, I only made this into a video because of how frustrated I was just getting onto the freeway! Talk about inefficient... I tried going as fast as I possibly could and wasn't even going to make this into a video until a few days later.

I thought I would spice it up this month and show a different type of video. Aka me rushing to get to work on time. Enjoy!
