This is a great way to start checking your injectors , watch the video then start by testing the exhaust manifold for temp its a great way to chase down the problem injector or which side is not working right ( if a wire harness goes bad then it can be multiple injectors on one side) You can also use the exhaust manifold part of the test to check other diesels works the same in principle if the exhaust is colder on that cylinder then its not working correctly or not working at all , diesel injector test.
