Episode 144: Faisala Synopsis

The episode starts with a Mob standing outside a house shouting for people inside. A woman comes out and her face is blackened. We cut to present where we Introduce Pankaj Mishra, who is a tuition teacher, corrected a few mock test papers in his tuition centre. He comes out of his trance when his phone rings. While talking to mother, he narrates that he is fed up of his younger brother, Manish Mishra and that he has to grow up. We also establish that Pankaj and Manish are staying in a rented house owned by Mr and Mrs Pandey and they also have a roommate, Suresh Jha. Pandey’s son Kishore is a student of tuition centre. Another classmate of Kishore, Dipu Chaudhary and her sister Ankita Chaudhary are also students of the tuition centre. Dipu and Kishore do not like to study and find ways of getting out of the class. Pankaj threatens them but only till a limit as they are the ones with the help of whom his tuition centre fees are being received so he ignores. Manish keeps asking for money from Pankaj. At home, Suresh has constant issues with Manish’s free-lunch behaviour and they have a massive fight. After this fight, they are thrown out of their rented house and they shift to a new place. All of a sudden, Pankaj disappears and never returns. Manish after waiting for 2 days goes to the police station to file a missing person report. On investigating, they get to know that Suresh also is not in town during that time. 2 days later, police get information about Pankaj’s phone and them to go to the location where the phone was found and police find Pankaj’s dead body. An autopsy is conducted and it is known that he was dead 4 days back itself. Suresh returns and is put under keen observation because he is the main suspect as he has hurt himself and says that he was involved in some accident about 4 days ago. Police start finding more angles in the story. Suresh has a shady porn video parlour and Dipu and Kishore are regular visitors at his parlour. Kishore’s father and Dipu’s father were also partners in his parlour for some time but they kicked them out when they got to know that their own sons are into porn videos lured by Suresh. Amidst all this, Kishore wants to tell to his mother something about Pankaj’s death but first wants to unravel the truth himself. Manish is caught in another theft-related crime but pleads to mother and police that he loves his brother and cannot do something gore like this to his own brother. Manish, however, confesses that he has extramarital affair with Kishore’s mother. After Kishore’s disappearance, the police come to a dead-end when Pankaj’s bank accounts were checked and got to know he ordered something online. When the parcel was tracked it was revealed that Pankaj had ordered a pendant with the name “Ankita”. Ankita and family are interrogated and they reveal that father came to know about their love affair and plans to take him out. They also kill Kishore as Kishore also had eyes on Ankita. Kishore is found cremated in the back yard of their house.
