Britain ‘furious’ about Boris Johnson’s illegal Christmas party
Spiked’s Chief Political Writer Brendan O’Neill says Britain is “furious” about Boris Johnson’s alleged Christmas party.
UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has come under fire in recent days for allegedly having a party at Downing Street last year, while London was under tier three coronavirus restrictions.
A video of the Prime Minister’s former press secretary Allegra Stratton giggling about a Christmas party while practicing for a press conference was released by ITV, raising questions about whether an illegal gathering took place.
“There’s a lot of anger in the country, we feel like they are literally laughing at us,” Mr O’Neill said.
