A tragic helicopter crash has claimed the lives of some of our brightest and most dedicated citizens — a young co-pilot celebrated as Ghana’s best overseas graduate at the Royal Air Force, a captain still grieving the loss of his wife just two months ago, and a flight technician who had only recently married.
The President was meant to be on that helicopter… but a last-minute decision by his wife changed his fate.

From the dangerous Accra–Kumasi road — where 16 children died in a crash just last week — to the stalled Big Push program promising 5,000 km of new roads, dual highways, and light rail between major cities, the time for excuses is over.
If Baltimore to NYC (308 km) can be done in 3 hours with safe highways and fast trains, why does Accra to Kumasi (250 km) still take 4 hours and 39 minutes on a deadly two-lane road?
