Forget Me Nots - Patrice Rushen (1982) - bass study PB '76

With fresh strings this would sound identical to the original.
Am noticing myself that if I play this in a free way, many ghost notes unvoluntarily seep in, to spice things up, and also to help keep my time ... this is probably the unavoidable Mark King influence on me as a Euro-kid growing up in the '80s and listening to a wide variety of "funky" music while learning bass back then.

Recorded through TotalRecorder exceptionally with the EQ add-in active, adding some high frequencies to bass + pre-EQ'd backing track (pre-EQ'd to remove the same frequencies from the backing track that get added again later during recording... yep, it's a bit of a DIY trick but it's acceptable)
