Hurricane Ida flash floods cause chaos in New York

Hurricane Ida has hit New York city as the remnants of the storm brought heavy rain that flooded subway lines and streets in Manhattan, Brooklyn and New Jersey. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued its first ever flash flood warning for New York city and video showed parts of Newark Liberty international airport flooded with water after all flights were suspended and parking lots were closed because of the severe flooding
