The Lure Of Steam

Another rainy day, another compilation! Lure Of Steam was the title of a book of photographs by the noted photographer Eric Treacy which I received as a Christmas present when I was but a lad, a wonderful book full of his finest work. Little did I realise back then that well over fifty years later I would still be able to photograph steam trains at work (Covid 19 permitting) and I hope that this compilation does manage to show a little of the 'lure of steam'
