What's the mission of your church? What's the vision? And is there a difference? This is one of the more common questions I get to tackle as I'm coaching pastors and church leaders.

I see a church's mission as timeless - set by Jesus. But the vision is timely. It's about how we carry out the mission in our current community and cultural context.
