This is a 1972 Pre L Pantera with 32K original miles. Guard’s Red exterior paint with black interior. Looks, runs and drives great with many upgrades. The owner has owned this Pantera for over 30 years, it has been garage stored and not driven in the rain. It has been well maintained, has many upgrades and only driven 8K miles during his ownership. The Ford 351 Cleveland Engine rebuilt less than 8K miles ago by Ford performance engine builder: blue printed, balanced, 10.5 to 1 compression ratio, Engle performance cam, Polished Edelbrock Performer Manifold, Manley SS valves, Holley 600 Double Pump carburetor, 10 quart oil pan with scraper and baffles, Mind Train Jet Hot Coated headers and exhaust system with cross-over pipe, MSD 6AL ignition and Ford DuraSpark electronic distributor. New RAM high performance clutch, pressure plate, throwout bearing and pilot bushing. Highly detailed engine compartment with AC hoses and wiring hidden. Transaxle ring gear has been tie wired and has the new Butfoy .642 5th gear for lower RPM driving. Upgraded brake system with new master cylinder, vented rotors and 4 piston differential bore calipers, braided SS brake lines and proportioning valve. New upgraded parking brake system and new cable from Pantera Performance. High output Ford G3 alternator. Upgraded cooling system with large lay down radiator, sucker fans, adjustable thermostatic control unit and new stainless steel coolant bottles with custom aluminum billet caps. AC system was recently upgraded with a new rotary compressor, new dryer, new AC lines, new expansion valve and high/low pressure shut off switch. Suspension upgrades include: urethane bushings and Koni shocks front and rear. New front upper and lower ball joints, wheel bearing and seals. New rear wheel bearings and seals, U joints and larger rear chromed sway bar. New rear tail light lenses with amber color directional lenses and new side marker light bezels. A 3rd brake light was added for additional safety. C4 Corvette seats added for driving comfort. Window motor regulators upgraded with brass gears. Lecarra leather wrapped steering wheel. An additional light bulb added in tack and speedometer for better illumination. Compomotive custom 3 piece aluminum wheels (16 inch front and 17 inch rear). Yokohama AVS Intermediate Z rated tires (225/45ZR/16 front, 315/35ZR/17 rear). New Fuel pump. New 850 CCA battery. New deck lid struts with polished aluminum eyelets added. An Air horn system was added for additional safety. Additional electrical circuits added with fuses and relays for the radiator fans and headlights.
