Hi everyone. This is Patrick Swayze on Stand Up To Cancer in 2008. This video is a very special video for a lot of different reasons. He talks about how if people could donate to a great cause, fighting cancer and finding a cure people wouldn’t have to suffer from this horrible disease. There’s millions of people who suffer from this disease and they’re still struggling to find a cure. It’s a cause everyone should care about. Unfortunately Patrick passed from Pancreatic Cancer on September 14th 2009. Today he’s still so loved and missed but he’ll never be forgotten.

Another reason this video is special to me is because my Mom, Grandmother, Uncle and a few more people from family passed away from this disease and I today know people who are suffering from this disease and like Patrick says if we can just come together and fight they could find a cure for this disease that not only affects the people suffering from this disease but the families who care for them and love them and want nothing more than to see their loved ones cured.
